Rebaabetswe Mwelase
Clinical Psychologist
Beginning therapy can feel daunting. It often starts at a point of transition - when something feels unsettled or no longer sustainable.
The best and worst thing about life is that nothing lasts forever. We are always moving through change, whether by choice or circumstance. Therapy offers a steady space within that movement. A place to pause, reflect, and begin to understand what this moment may be asking of you. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

About Rebaabetswe Mwelase
Dedicated to Your Mental Well-Being
I am a clinical psychologist offering psychodynamic and integrative psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I aim to create a reflective, non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their emotional experiences, relationships, and personal challenges in a way that feels authentic and contextually grounded.
My clinical experience spans both public and private healthcare settings. I have worked in acute medical and psychiatric contexts which include Netcare Akeso Hospital, Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, Helen Joseph Hospital, Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, and Netcare Milpark Hospital. My work has included supporting patients and families in trauma units, neuro and medical wards, intensive care settings, and specialised psychiatric programmes, including dual-diagnosis services.
In addition, I work within employee health and wellness services, providing psychological consultations, assessments, and policy-informed mental health support within public sector contexts. I have experience with inpatient and outpatient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and individual, family, and group interventions.
Across all settings, my approach remains thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs
